Uncle's notes

While I love wearing my Speedmaster, there was something about the bracelet that just wasn't right with me. For some reason between the removable links and micro-adjustments I was still unable to achieve the perfect fit. Add to that I am a vintage guy at heart and the stock bracelet just looks too modern to me. So, I decided to take the plunge and make remake some of the classic models for a new generation of Omega lovers.

Please note - we cannot guarantee compatibility with special edition Speedmaster's.

Installation tips

Mounting these can be a challenge because the opening is somewhat narrow. I have found it is easier to flip the watch over and mount from the underside. Make sure you have the proper spring-bar tool to help guide those bars into place!

A couple of guys mentioned that they love the vintage pressure clasp, but wish it had a bit more "snap" when securing it. You can adjust the tension by slightly moving the small tab on the inside of the clasp. Moving it toward the hinge (away from the bracelet) very slightly will make it harder to close and create the desired effect. Again, a tiny adjustment with needle-nose pliers and check, repeating if needed. (See last picture).
